VSide Hacked

[en] Seams like the vside bunny's have more work to do in protecting the music streams and the artists rights. Just today i found out about a new cool hack that allows you to listen and rip the Vside's "Ogg Vobis" streams.

They seam to be protected by an http auth request, but when you look closer and login with the username "Guest" and a blank password you can see that their protection is not so good.

[ro] Iepurasi de la Vside mai au mult de lucrat la partea cu protectia dreptului intelectual. Am aflat astazi ca exista un mod de a asculta si chiar a copia streamurile lor "Ogg Vobis".

Se pare ca acestea mai din urma sunt protejate de o simpla audentificare iceCast. Totusi daca ne da prin cap sa scriem userul guest si parola sa o lasam libera, putem asculta linistiti streamurile lor de muzica.

Ar trebuii sa fie mai atenti cu drepturile de difuzare.
